Hilde Baerten
Clinical psychologist - Behavioral therapist in training
Hasselt
I combine extensive experience in management roles with a profound expertise in psychology. My journey led me from stress and burnout coaching within the Flemish government to further exploration in clinical psychology and specialization in behavior therapy.
“Inviting in contact, scientific in approach.” - Hilde Baerten
My background
After my initial studies in organizational psychology, I further developed myself as a stress and burnout coach and reintegration counselor. My passion for psychology led me back to the academic world, where I obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the VUB. I completed my clinical internship at Faresa, under the supervision of experienced behavior therapists. I have certifications in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), IBCT (Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy), and Schema Therapy. Currently, I am pursuing a postgraduate degree in behavior therapy at the KUL and I am a member of the BFP, VVKP, and VVGT.
